Curbed Chicago: Former Chicago Bulls star Jimmy Butler lists River North mansion for $5M

The 10,000-square-foot mansion has no shortage of amenities, including a custom winding staircase, elevator, and 750-bottle wine cellar.

Fans of the Chicago Bulls now have a chance to live in a one-time player’s home. Former Bulls star Jimmy Butler has listed his River North Mansion after being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

According to a recent article on Curbed Chicago, the 10,000-square-foot mansion features six bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, a rec room with a bar and billiards and multiple outdoor deck spaces. The home was completed in 2008, and is designed with a nouveau chateaux appearance on both the inside and outside. Butler’s former mansion also includes an elevator, custom winding staircase and a wine cellar equipped for 750 bottles.

Butler originally paid $4.3 million for the home in September of 2015. The current asking price is $5 million.
